Job Responsibilities:
As a pilot with Fly Red Sea, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional air mobility experiences across our Red Sea destinations. Your responsibilities will include:
Safe and Efficient Flight Operations:Ensure the safe, proper, and efficient operation of the amphibious Cessna 208 aircraft, prioritizing the safety and comfort of passengers at all times.
Aircraft Proficiency:Maintain a high level of technical knowledge and hands-on proficiency specific to the C208 Amphibian, including its systems, float operations, and performance capabilities.
Operational Readiness:Demonstrate a thorough understanding of all relevant operating procedures, company instructions, and industry best practices related to amphibious aircraft operations.
Flight Preparation:Verify that the aircraft is airworthy, correctly equipped, appropriately loaded, and that all documentation is accurate and complete prior to departure.
Weather and Hazard Awareness:Review and assess all available meteorological, NOTAM, and hazard information relevant to the intended route and area of operation, particularly coastal and maritime environments.
Pre-Flight Planning and Documentation:Conduct comprehensive flight planning, including coordination of any required notifications and completion of all necessary documents and operational forms before, during, and after the flight.
Passenger and Crew Management:Ensure all crew and passengers receive proper safety briefings, and manage the safe loading, unloading, and handling of passengers and cargo.
Aircraft Handling on Water and Remote Sites:Execute safe docking, mooring, and water handling procedures.
Record Keeping:Maintain accurate flight records and other documentation as required by company policies and regulatory standards.
Incident and Emergency Reporting:Promptly report any accidents, incidents, hazardous conditions, or emergencies in accordance with the Fly Red Sea Operations Manual and applicable regulations.
Company Representation:Act as a professional ambassador of Fly Red Sea, interacting respectfully and courteously with customers, local authorities, airport personnel, and the general public.
Self-Discipline and Fitness:Uphold high standards of personal conduct, physical fitness, and mental acuity necessary for the demands of amphibious flight operations in a dynamic environment.
Qualifications: Commercial Pilot License (CPL) or Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate Current Instrument Rating (IR) Minimum 3,000 hours total flight time, including:1,000 hours as Pilot-in-Command (PIC)1,000 hours seaplane time on single-engine aircraft, or 500 hours on type (Cessna 208 Amphibian)
