The Job in a Nutshell???? The Accountant – Foodics Pay will be responsible for reconciling all financial transactions related to merchant operations, including POS activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting in alignment with regulatory and internal standards (e.
g., SAMA). This role requires strong analytical skills, a high level of accuracy, and good knowledge in financial reconciliation within FinTech or payment processing environments What Will You Do❓ Perform daily reconciliation of Merchant Service Fee (MSF) files against merchant payouts and bank statements.
Record daily financial entries from all accounts associated with merchant operations.
Reconcile payout transactions, collections, and settlements with corresponding bank statements and payment gateways.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies in merchant transaction data, settlements, and chargebacks.
Support in preparing monthly regulatory reports to SAMA and other relevant authorities in a timely manner.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory guidelines.
Handle merchant financial inquiries and claims related to settlements, collections, and discrepancies.
Monitor merchant balances and ensure accurate disbursement of payouts.
Participate in system testing and enhancement projects for FinTech accounting and settlement modules.
Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to merchant operations What Are We Looking For❓ Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, or related fields 0–2 years of experience in Accounting Saudi National Professional certifications (SOCPA, CMA, CPA) are a plus Preferred Skills: Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Solid understanding of accounting principles.
Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
Excellent communication in both English and Arabic written and oral.
Strong Excel skills.
High level of integrity and confidentiality.
Must be flexible to work in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
