Job Overview
We are seeking experienced and qualified RT Technicians to perform Radiographic Testing and other Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) activities to ensure the quality, safety, and integrity of materials, components, and welded structures in industrial projects.
The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise in NDT methods, certification as per ASNT standards, and the ability to work efficiently in site and workshop environments.
Key ResponsibilitiesConduct Radiographic Testing (RT) on welds, castings, pipes, and structural components.
Perform additional NDT methods such as PT, MT, and UT as per certification level.
Interpret radiographic films and digital images accurately.
Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client specifications.
Prepare and maintain inspection reports, records, and documentation.
Set up, operate, and maintain RT equipment safely.
Follow radiation safety procedures and regulatory guidelines strictly.
Identify defects, discontinuities, and quality issues in materials.
Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and quality teams.
Support quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) activities.
Maintain calibration and proper handling of testing equipment.
Assist in audits, inspections, and third-party verifications when required.
Essential QualificationsDiploma in Engineering (Mechanical / Metallurgical / Related Field).
Valid ASNT Level II Certification in Radiographic Testing (RT).
ASNT Level I or II Certification in PT, MT, and UT is mandatory.
Radiation Safety Certification (as per statutory requirements).
Minimum 5+ years of relevant work experience in NDT inspection.
Skills & CompetenciesStrong knowledge of Radiographic Testing techniques and standards.
Proficiency in interpreting radiographic films and reports.
Good understanding of ASME, ASTM, ISO, and client-specific standards.
Good command of spoken and written English.
Ability to prepare clear and accurate inspection reports.
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Knowledge of radiation safety practices.
Ability to work independently and in teams.
Physical fitness for site and field work.
