Policies, Processes and Procedures
- Applies approved HSE policies, processes, and procedures and monitors adherence so that work is carried out in a controlled manner
Day- to-day operations
- Applies the day-to-day operations assigned for the group to ensure compliance with the established HSE standards and procedures
Waste Management
- Implements the waste management programs of the company in the concerned department to ensure that all employees adheres to environmental standards in order to protect the surrounding environment and follow government set policies
Facility Inspection
- Conducts inspection of facilities to ensure that all safety standards and programs are properly followed in order to protect both Company and human resources
Programs
- Designs safety, health and environmental protection programs and shares this with the company safety division to ensure that the department program is in parallel and follows the overall safety and environmental program of the company
Investigations
- Assists any HSE related investigations related to the department to ensure that all facts are gathered in order to make the necessary recommendation to avoid and mitigate any negative results
Work Permits
- Reviews and endorses for approval submitted work permits to ensure that the contractor adheres to the safety standards in order to protect human and Company assets
Committee Meetings
- Attends safety committee meetings to ensure that the department is properly represented in the meeting in order to provide suggestions and opinions in addressing any HSE issues
Reporting
- Prepares section reports in a timely and accurate manner to meet Company and section requirements, policies and standards
Safety, Health & Environment
- Complies with all relevant safety, health and environmental procedures to ensure a healthy and safe work environment
- Conducts safety audits to ensure department compliance with HSE standards
- Participates in planning safety and fire-fighting training sessions, materials, and manuals to raise safety awareness across the department
