Job Summary The Chemical / Process Engineer (E2) is responsible for designing, developing, optimizing, and monitoring chemical and process systems to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations. The role involves applying engineering principles to improve processes, troubleshoot operational issues, and ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

Roles & Responsibilities Design, analyze, and optimize chemical and process systems to improve efficiency, quality, and productivity. Monitor day-to-day plant/process operations and recommend improvements to enhance performance and reduce costs. Conduct process simulations, calculations, and feasibility studies for new and existing projects. Identify operational issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions. Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental (HSE) standards and regulatory requirements. Prepare technical reports, process documentation, operating procedures, and specifications. Coordinate with cross-functional teams including operations, maintenance, quality, and project management. Support commissioning, start-up, shutdown, and troubleshooting activities. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers when required. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, clients, and management in both English and Arabic.
Mandatory Requirements Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or chemical science. Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in chemical/process engineering. Strong knowledge of chemical processes, unit operations, and process optimization. Fluency in English and Arabic (spoken and written). Proven experience in industrial, plant, or process-based environments. Good understanding of international engineering standards and safety practices.
