To perform or monitor the D&WO general inspection activities, Inspects tubular metal equipment performing any combination of following tasks: Inspects interior and exterior of tubing, casing, drill pipe, and other tubular metal equipment used in drilling and producing oil or gas wells to detect visual incrustations, cracks, or other defects. And to co-ordinates with other assistant department for any support and logistics.

- Follows all relevant section policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner
- Perform the inspection of materials and equipment in line with standard operating procedures to assure they are within tolerances, grade and quality specified, property stored and handled and whether they are damaged or not.
Day- to-day operations
- Follows the day-to-day operations related to own jobs in the Drilling and workover division to ensure continuity of work
Inspection
- Monitor materials control of Tubular for conformance to specification requirements and storage and preservation conditions. Ensure adequacy of traceability records.
- Inspects tubular metal equipment performing any combination of following tasks: Inspects interior and exterior of tubing, casing, drill pipe, and other tubular metal equipment used in drilling and producing oil or gas wells to detect visual incrustations, cracks, or other defects.
- Cleans and repairs equipment.
- Reports findings to engineering personnel.
- Provide early warning of potential quality problem
- Inspection review documentation.
- Approved manufacture Inspection & Test Plan (ITP/QP).
- Communication with TPI as well as QA/QC section during material manufacture.
- Review Third party inspector CV’s as well as TPI reports.
- Verify that all testing procedures have been approved and are on site. Confirm testing parameters are duly recorded and that testing equipment is calibrated.
- Review contractors completion files for accuracy and adequacy, "As Built" file for completeness.
- Check new material arrival and supervisor loading and offloading in storage area.
- Maintains computer database of inspection results.
