The Bioengineering Department at King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (

) is seeking potential Saudi candidates holding PhD degree highly motivated and qualified individuals to join our team as faculty members.

is a leading engineering university in the Middle East, and we are committed to providing our students with an exceptional education in bioengineering. The Bioengineering Department is a new and rapidly growing department. We offer a BSc and MSc degrees in bioengineering and life sciences. Our research areas include bioinformatics, biosystems, and biomaterials.
We are seeking candidates with expertise in one or more of the following areas:
• Bioinformatics: Biomarkers Discovery, Biologics Design, Personalized Medicine, artificial intelligence (AI).
• Biosystems: Biodevices, Diagnostic Assays, Biosensors, BioMEMS, Medical Technologies.
• Biomaterials: Nanomedicine, Drug Delivery Systems, Nanovaccines, Tissue Engineering.
Job Responsibility:
The candidate will be expected to be available for professional duties for approximately ( 35-40 ) hours per week and to carry out teaching, research, academic advising, administrative duties and any other academic duties that will be assigned to the faculty by the academic department concerned. Also he must adhere to any other job responsibilities imposed by the Ministry of Civil Service regulations.

Applicant must have:
An earned Ph.D. degree from a reputable university in the relevant field.
A full time bachelor’s and master’s degrees with very good grades.
Certificate equivalency if the degree obtained from outside the Kingdom.
