Role: Senior Managing BASIS Consultant · SAP S/4HANA Migration & Conversion

 Role Summary:

 Lead SAP BASIS teams in complex S/4HANA migration and conversion projects. Provide strategic guidance on system architecture, performance optimization, and cloud integration. Act as a trusted advisor for clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring successful delivery of technical transformations.

 Key Responsibilities:

· Drive end-to-end SAP BASIS activities for S/4HANA migration and conversion projects (SUM/DMO).

 · Define technical architecture and oversee system upgrades, kernel patches, and performance tuning.

 · Manage SAP landscapes across on-premise, SAP RISE, and cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP).

 · Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and security compliance for SAP systems.

 · Collaborate with functional and technical teams to align BASIS strategy with business objectives.

 · Lead pre-sales technical solutioning and contribute to proposals for migration projects.

 · Mentor BASIS consultants and build team capability for emerging SAP technologies.

 · Conduct workshops and provide technical training for clients and internal teams.

 Required Skills & Competencies:

 · 12+ years in SAP BASIS administration with at least 5 years in leadership roles.

 · Proven experience in S/4HANA migration/conversion projects using SUM/DMO.

 · Strong expertise in SAP HANA DB administration, sizing, and performance optimization.

 · Hands-on experience with SAP RISE, SAP BTP, and hybrid cloud connectivity.

 · Knowledge of transport management, release management, and security best practices.

 · Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

 Preferred Qualifications:

 · SAP BASIS certification and S/4HANA migration credentials.

 · Experience with hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP).

 · PMP or equivalent project management certification.

 Desirable Technical Background:

 · Familiarity with SAP Solution Manager, PI/PO, and integration with third-party systems.

 · Understanding of OS (Linux/Unix/Windows) and database platforms (HANA, Oracle).

 · Ability to troubleshoot complex BASIS issues and optimize system performance
