Sr. Reliability Engineer

  • Implement Reliability and Asset Management strategies to ensure the reliability of the plant and maximize the availability of equipment in the plant.
  • Conduct proactive maintenance activities and root cause analysis to improve asset performance and availability.
  • Develop/optimize maintenance plans and ensure timely execution to minimize downtime.
  • Track and follow department key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure asset performance and reliability, and develop an action plan that leads to maximizing the asset availability based on data analysis.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate risks associated with asset failures and maintenance activities.
  • Implement predictive maintenance technologies, such as condition monitoring and predictive analytics, to identify potential asset failures before they occur.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive asset registry, including equipment history, maintenance records, and performance data.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to asset management and reliability.
  • Provide regular reports on asset performance, maintenance activities, and reliability metrics to the Department Manager.
  • Reviews and advises preventive maintenance schedules for various equipment in line with manufacturer recommendations, historical information on the equipment performance, and experience on similar equipment to minimize maintenance cost.
  • Supports annual shutdown preparation & execution based on the proactive strategies developed.
  • Provides technical support to operations and maintenance through proper recommendations and reports.
  • Keeps up the technological developments in the industries by working closely with the vendor and implementing through proper redesign to enhance the components' life.
  • Ensure the monthly and periodic reports are submitted to the concerned department.
  • Reviews and assists the next in charge in the preparation of the department's annual capital and expense budgets.
  • Performing any other related job as required by the immediate Supervisor/Direct Manager.

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/ Instrument) or related field; professional certification in reliability is preferred
  • Analytical Thinking, Communication, Concern for Safety, Quality & the Environment, Initiative, Leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of asset management principles, reliability engineering, and maintenance best practices
