Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced Lead Welding QA/QC Engineer to oversee and manage all welding quality activities on a large-scale industrial / EPC project. The role is critical in ensuring compliance with project specifications, international welding standards, and quality requirements across fabrication, installation, and commissioning phases.
Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage all welding QA/QC activities on site Review and approve WPS, PQR, and WPQEnsure compliance with international standards (ASME, AWS, ISO, EN) Supervise welding inspections, NDT activities, and quality audits Coordinate with EPC contractors, vendors, and third-party inspectors Monitor welder qualifications and welding consumables control Manage NCRs, corrective actions, and quality reporting Support client inspections, audits, and final acceptance
Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Metallurgical Engineering Minimum 10–15 years of experience in welding QA/QCProven experience in lead or senior QA/QC welding roles Strong knowledge of ASME Section IX, AWS, ISO standards Hands-on experience with NDT methods (RT, UT, MT, PT) Experience on EPC projects (power, oil & gas, water, or industrial) Excellent reporting and coordination skills
