Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily health checks and monitor alarms on PS Core nodes (MME, SGSN, GGSN, EPG, DNS/PCC/PCG, SAPC, SMF/UPF).
- Troubleshoot and resolve network faults, capacity issues, and performance degradation.
- Manage subscriber sessions, PDP contexts, bearer handling, and IMSI tracing.
- Implement new APNs, IMSI ranges, rating groups, and QoS profiles.
- Configure PCC rules, PDR/QER/FAR/URR policies, and interface with PCRF/SAPC.
- Manage DNS/NAPTR/SRV configurations for IMS and EPC services.
- Support integration of new PS Core nodes (vEPG, vMME, vUPF on cloud/Kubernetes).
- Plan and implement software upgrades, patches, and capacity expansions.
- Analyze KPI trends (Attach success, bearer setup, handover success, latency, throughput).
- Develop and maintain scripts (Bash, Python, Expect, AWK) for log parsing, KPIs, and automation.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of PS Core portfolio: SGSN-MME, EPG (GGSN/PGW/SGW), PCC/PCG, SAPC, DRA, SMF/UPF.
- Understanding of 2G/3G/4G/5G call flows (Attach, TAU/RAU, Handover, Session Management).
- Proficient in protocols: GTP-C/U, Diameter, Radius, HTTP/2, SIP, SCTP, TCP/UDP/IP.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, OpenStack, Kubernetes, Docker).
- Hands-on experience with CLI (gsh, vshell, epg, pcc).
- Proficiency in OSS/BSS integration, NetAct, ENM, ENIQ, Wireshark.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage high-priority incidents.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills for effective cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 4–8 years of experience in PS Core / EPC / 5G Core networks .
- Knowledge of cloud-native 5G Core (dual-mode 5GC, CNIS, SMF/UPF integration) is an advantage.
