Position Overview:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced SharePoint Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with SharePoint (both on-premises and online) and a solid understanding of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem. You will be responsible for managing and optimizing our SharePoint environment, ensuring a seamless experience for our users.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and manage SharePoint and Microsoft 365 environments, including both on-premises and online platforms.
- Use your solid understanding of the Windows operating system to support SharePoint operations.
- Manage SQL Server, ensuring efficient integration with SharePoint's backend.
- Utilize advanced PowerShell scripting for automating administrative tasks.
- Manage users and groups through Active Directory.
- Apply knowledge of networking concepts, security best practices, and data encryption to enhance system integrity.
Skills
Experience and Skills:
- 2-4 years of hands-on SharePoint administration experience, with a strong track record of planning and executing migrations and upgrades.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Proven project management skills, capable of overseeing SharePoint-related projects from inception to completion.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical users.
- Business acumen to understand how SharePoint can support and fulfill specific business objectives.
Education and Certifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications, such as the Microsoft 365 Certified: SharePoint Administrator Expert, are highly valued.
