We are seeking a dedicated Application Support Specialist to join our dynamic team in the real estate sector. This role is vital for ensuring that our applications run smoothly and efficiently, providing our clients and internal stakeholders with the best possible service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in application support, troubleshooting, and customer service, paired with a passion for technology and a desire to help others. As part of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of our software applications, assisting users with technical issues, and continuously improving our systems to enhance user experience.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide first and second-level support for all application-related issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to business operations.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot application issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
  3. Monitor application performance and user feedback to proactively address potential issues before they escalate.
  4. Assist in the deployment of new applications and updates, ensuring thorough testing and documentation are completed.
  5. Develop and maintain user manuals and training materials to facilitate user understanding and effective use of applications.
  6. Conduct regular training sessions for staff on application features and best practices to enhance overall productivity.
  7. Work closely with IT teams to ensure application security and compliance with company policies.
  8. Gather and analyze user requirements to inform application enhancements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  9. Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend improvements and innovations in application support.

Preferred Candidate:

  1. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions under pressure.
  2. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey technical information to non-technical users.
  3. Proven experience in application support or a related field, preferably within the real estate or technology industries.
  4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  5. Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality work and ensuring user satisfaction.
  6. Experience with ticketing systems and customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
  7. Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall.
  8. Proficiency in SQL and basic programming skills to assist with troubleshooting and data analysis.
  9. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
