Who you are:
We are currently looking to hire an accountant who will be responsible for all general
accounting tasks at our new Saudi location while also benefiting from an existing and successful
branch in Saudi. We are looking for someone who is experienced enough to be able to
independently work in an environment that offers the opportunity to make a significant impact
with a new company. We are looking for someone who has a high attention to detail, good
judgment and financial prudence.
Key Responsibilities:
● Oversee the ongoing maintenance and of A/P and A/R accounts
● Processing quotes, production requests and invoices through Zoho accounting software
● Issuing delivery notes prior to product loading
● Bank reconciliation with all journal entries and accounts including A/P and A/R
● Precise inventory monitoring and reporting of hundreds of SKUs
● Ensure payroll is accurate and records are maintained
● Support sales by preparing A/R reports including aging schedules
● Prepare cash flow reports and budgets
● Prepare documentation for audits
● Awareness of regulatory requirements in KSA and creating tax planning strategies in
accordance with existing legislation
● Create financial forecasts and analyze risk
Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Zoho accounting software or ability to quickly learn
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 3-7 years of experience in KSA
- Fluent in Arabic and English
- Proficiency in bookkeeping, financial reporting, and account reconciliation
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of accounting software and ERP systems
- Familiarity with financial regulations and audit processes
- Effective communication and problem-solving abilities
Skills
- Strong understanding of general accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS)
- Hands-on experience managing Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R)
- Proficiency in bank reconciliation, journal entries, and month-end closing
- Ability to manage high-volume inventory accounting with multiple SKUs
- Strong skills in cash flow management, budgeting, and financial forecasting
- Experience preparing financial statements and audit-ready documentation
- Solid understanding of KSA tax regulations, including ZATCA compliance (VAT, e-invoicing)
- High accuracy and attention to detail in financial data entry and reporting
- Ability to work independently and take ownership in a startup or new-branch environment
- Strong analytical and risk assessment capabilities
- Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas, reconciliations)
- Ability to collaborate effectively with sales, operations, and management teams
- Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines
- Ethical judgment, confidentiality, and financial prudence
- Adaptability and willingness to improve processes and systems
