Perfect Vision
About Perfect Vision Perfect Vision is on a mission to reinvent fleet operations with advanced, fleet management technologies. We deliver enterprise-grade solutions that help organizations maximize the efficiency, safety, and profitability of every asset on the road. We provide a comprehensive suite of telematics solutions—ranging from high-precision GPS tracking to fully integrated vehicle monitoring systems—enabling businesses to eliminate operational inefficiencies, gain granular control over fuel and maintenance costs, and optimize overall fleet utilization. By engineering the entire fleet ecosystem end-to-end, we help our customers unlock measurable ROI, reduce risk, and achieve a new standard of operational excellence across their entire fleet.
Position Overview We are looking for a high-caliber Senior Technical Lead to oversee our technical operations and engineering standards. This is a hybrid leadership role: you will manage the technical team while serving as the primary subject matter expert for our Fleet Management and Telematics architectures. You will act as the technical authority within the company, bridging the gap between complex hardware configurations and our clients’ business goals. You will ensure that every deployment—whether for a logistics convoy or a public transit fleet—is executed with precision and technical rigor.
Key Responsibilities1. Technical Strategy & Team Leadership Lead, mentor, and evaluate the performance of installation engineers and technical support staff. Define and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for fleet installations to ensure a "zero-defect" deployment standard. Serve as the technical escalation point for key enterprise accounts, managing solution design and complex problem resolution. Manage the technical roadmap for new product integration, validating hardware compatibility before market release.
2. Telematics & System Architecture Oversee the end-to-end configuration of MDVRs, Vehicle Trackers, and Telematics Control Units (TCUs) to ensure precise data data flow. Manage complex vehicle integration, including CAN Bus (J1939/FMS) interpretation, ensuring accurate extraction of fuel, RPM, and odometer data. Design connectivity solutions utilizing 4G/LTE networks to ensure consistent uptime and server communication for real-time fleet visibility. Configure peripheral sensor logic (Fuel Level Sensors, Temperature Monitoring, PTO) to generate actionable data for fleet managers.
3. Quality Assurance & Implementation Direct field operations for large-scale fleet rollouts, ensuring timelines and technical specifications are met. Conduct root-cause analysis on hardware and firmware anomalies, liaising with R&D partners to implement permanent fixes. Develop technical documentation, wiring schematics, and system diagrams to support the sales and operations teams.
Qualifications Experience: Minimum 5+ years in the Telematics, Fleet Management, or Automotive Technology sectors. Leadership: Proven experience managing technical teams or leading project deployments. Core Competencies:Expertise in Automotive Electronics (12V/24V systems, relays, ignition logic). Deep knowledge of MDVR and GPS hardware architecture. Proficiency in Data Communication Protocols (RS232, RS485, Digital I/O). Solid understanding of Vehicle Data Networks (CAN Bus/OBDII).
Why Perfect Vision? Join a forward-thinking organization that is redefining how fleets operate. At Perfect Vision, you will step into a leadership role where your technical expertise directly impacts the efficiency and bottom line of major commercial enterprises. We offer a professional environment that values precision, innovation, and results.
