We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Technician to join our dynamic team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation systems and a passion for technology. As an Automation Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of automated systems and equipment. Your expertise will play a critical role in ensuring operational efficiency and enhancing productivity across various projects. You will work closely with engineers and other technicians to implement automation solutions that meet our clients' specifications and requirements. An understanding of control systems, robotics, and programming languages is essential for this position.

Responsibilities:

1. Install, configure, and maintain automation systems and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
2. Diagnose and troubleshoot issues in automated systems, providing effective solutions in a timely manner.
3. Collaborate with engineers to design and implement new automation solutions tailored to client needs.
4. Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on automated systems to minimize downtime.
5. Document all maintenance and repair activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies.
6. Train and mentor junior technicians and staff on automation processes and best practices.
7. Stay updated on the latest advancements in automation technology and recommend improvements to existing systems.
8. Participate in project planning and execution, ensuring all automation tasks are completed on schedule.
9. Assist in the development of technical manuals and documentation for automation systems.
10. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of automation solutions into existing workflows.

Preferred Candidate:

1. Proven experience as an Automation Technician or in a similar role, with a minimum of 3 years and a maximum of 10 years in the field.
2. Strong understanding of PLCs, SCADA systems, and industrial automation protocols.
3. Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting.
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
5. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey technical information.
6. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and projects.
7. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
8. Relevant certifications in automation technology or related fields are a plus.
9. Strong commitment to safety and quality standards in all work activities.
