Summary

 

Working at Field Service Department, this person will be responsible for working on Site for outage projects for Mechanical work of Turbines and related equipment, support outage projects planning/close out process, support QMS documents development and support PDCA process for Field Service department.

 

Job Description and Responsibilities

1.    General:

 

·      Lead GT Mechanical work at Site to ensure work activities are completed safely and with Mitsubishi Power (MPW) Quality Standard

·      Lead Mechanical activities including planning, organizing and monitoring of resources for the Area of Supervision.

·      Working on Site for Mitsubishi Power outage projects inside and outside Saudi Arabia

·      Support outages planning/close out process as required.

·      Support Development Process for QMS (Quality Management System)

·      Support PDCA process to achieve continuous improvement process within FS department

 

2.    Details:

 

  • Ensure HSE measures are adhered to on site with no tolerance for safety violations.
  • Ensure team members completed mandatory HSE training for applicable tasks and the work is performed following applicable HSE documents
  • Perform Mechanical Technical Services scope of work during outages and provide on-site technical guidance for the team under area of supervision.
  • Lead the implementation of Quality Control Procedures for GT Mechanical Work during disassembly, inspection, and assembly of turbines and related equipment.
  • Interpret and apply drawings, field procedures, and technical documents to open/close activities.
  • To fulfil applicable Quality Plan and Quality Control Sheets for tasks as applicable
  • Lead, monitor, and control daily progress to ensure the target plan is achieved safely and with high quality.
  • Submit daily reports and proper handover to other shift as applicable.
  • Working on Site for outage projects related to Turbines and related equipment at Saudi Arabia.
  • Working at Mitsubishi power projects outside Saudi Arabia mainly in the EMEA Region (Europe, Middle East and Africa) when required.
  • Support QMS Development Process such as Work Procedures, Quality Plans, Quality Control Sheets as required.

·      To work actively on outage planning, execution and close out process as required.

Skills

1.    Person Specification:

 

·      Education: Technical/University degree or High School Diploma with a minimum of 4 years of experience in a Field Services role as Supervisor role.

·      Experience: Previous related experience in power plant (Utility, industrial or Oil & Gas or power plant maintenance, turbine generator maintenance or power plant equipment installation).

·      Fluency in business English

·      Computer knowledge and mastery of common software packages for office work.

·      Experience working for a Japanese company (preferable but not required).

·      Good Knowledge and experience working with common HSE and Quality Standards

·      Able to lead others and work well in a team environment

 

2.    Employment Conditions:

 

·      Salary will be in accordance with Education and/or related experience.

·      Working hours: in accordance with Saudi Office Regulations.
