Job Summary

The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving growth by developing new business opportunities, expanding client relationships, and strengthening the company’s presence in the Facilities Management (FM) and Maintenance sector. The role focuses on identifying market opportunities, preparing technical–commercial proposals, and securing contracts related to building maintenance, MEP services, soft & hard FM, and AMC projects.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Growth & Market Development

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in Facilities Management and Maintenance services across Jeddah and the Western Region.
  • Conduct market research to understand FM trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline of corporate clients, FM consultants, contractors, developers, and property owners.
  • Participate in industry events, exhibitions, and networking activities.

2. Client Relationship Management

  • Maintain and grow long-term relationships with key accounts and decision-makers.
  • Conduct presentations, client meetings, and site visits to promote company services.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and address all client concerns promptly.

3. Proposal & Contract Management

  • Prepare technical and commercial proposals for FM, maintenance, and AMC contracts.
  • Lead tender preparation, costing, pricing strategies, and negotiation of contracts.
  • Coordinate with engineering, operations, and finance teams to ensure accurate proposals.

4. Operational Coordination

  • Work closely with the operations team to develop service delivery plans for new contracts.
  • Ensure project handover, mobilization, and kickoff processes are executed smoothly.
  • Monitor contract performance and recommend improvements.

5. Revenue & Performance Management

  • Achieve assigned sales targets, revenue goals, and profitability objectives.
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly business development reports.
  • Track KPIs related to pipeline, conversions, retention, and customer satisfaction.


Skills

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in Business Development or Sales within the FM / Maintenance industry.
  • Strong knowledge of MEP services, AMC contracts, soft & hard FM operations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong network in Jeddah and Western Region FM market (preferred).
  • Valid Saudi driving license.
