About the Role:
SEP Schools are seeking an exceptional Head of boys' school to join us in 2025. As one of our educational leaders, the Head of boys' school will play a pivotal role in shaping the academic experience for our young learners while fostering a positive, collaborative school culture.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing strong relationships with staff, students, and parents, maintaining a high level of accountability, and driving the implementation of key aspects of the school’s improvement plan. Additionally, will promote innovative instructional practices, integrating technology as both a tool for learning and communication.
Reporting directly to the school Principal, the Head of Boys school will be a valued member of the upper Leadership Team and will have the following key responsibilities:
- Staff Leadership & Development: Support the recruitment process and retention of excellent Homeroom and Class Teachers. Lead the professional development opportunities for class/homeroom teachers and teaching assistants
- Performance Management: Support in the performance evaluations of class/homeroom teachers and teaching assistants, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.
- Professional Growth: Lead by example in developing your own professional practice and that of your team.
- Admissions & Enrolment: Contribute to the admissions process to ensure the school attracts and retains a diverse, motivated student body.
- Wellbeing & Support: Support both staff and student wellbeing, promoting a balanced and enriching educational experience through curricular and extracurricular programs.
- Accreditation & Compliance: Assist with accreditation processes to ensure the school maintains high standards of quality and meets international benchmarks.
Required Qualifications:
- Educational Background: A degree in education, with a certified teaching qualification (e.g., US Teaching License or equivalent)
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years’ experience including within international settings. Previous experience of teaching an international curriculum (e.g. American/IB/British) is a significant advantage.
