Operational Supervision:
- Oversee the daily activities of the station to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Manage staff schedules, tasks, and workflow, ensuring adequate coverage for all shifts.
- Monitor equipment, facilities, and systems to ensure they are functioning properly.
- Ensure the station operates in compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Staff Management:
- Supervise and support station staff, providing training and guidance as needed.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
- Manage attendance, discipline, and conflict resolution within the team.
- Organize regular team meetings to communicate updates, concerns, and operational changes.
Customer Service:
- Ensure that station services meet customer expectations and company standards.
- Address customer inquiries, complaints, and issues promptly and professionally.
- Maintain a positive, customer-centric atmosphere in the station.
Safety and Compliance:
- Enforce safety protocols, ensuring that all operations comply with company policies and legal regulations.
- Perform regular safety inspections and risk assessments.
- Respond to emergency situations, coordinate with emergency services, and ensure safety procedures are followed.
Inventory and Equipment Management:
- Ensure station equipment and resources (such as vehicles, tools, or broadcasting equipment) are properly maintained and serviced.
- Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
- Ensure the correct use of resources and minimize waste.
Operational Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports for management review.
- Maintain accurate records related to station operations, including incident reports, maintenance logs, and staffing records.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for the station.
Problem Resolution:
- Act as the first point of contact for troubleshooting operational issues or customer complaints.
- Coordinate with relevant departments to address any equipment malfunctions, delays, or disruptions.
- Implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence of problems.
Collaboration with Other Departments:
- Work closely with other supervisors, managers, or departments to ensure cross-functional collaboration.
- Assist with strategic planning and decision-making related to station operations, such as process improvements and cost-efficiency.
Budgeting and Financial Oversight:
- Assist in managing the station's budget, including cost control and financial tracking.
- Help identify areas for cost savings and improved efficiency in operations.
Skills
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (required)
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in business management, operations, or related field (preferred)
- 7+ in FM management (Hard and Soft)
- Experience in the specific station environment (e.g., transportation, broadcasting, utilities) is a plus.
