Provide ongoing supervision and monitoring on onsite maintenance of all mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, piping, heat, ventilation and air conditioning systems within the designated area of responsibility through managing all involved direct hired and contractors’ personnel.

Description
- Provide technical leadership and on the ground support to all routine maintenance activities including maintenance, repair and calibration of a wide range of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, piping, heat, ventilation and air conditioning systems within the designated area of responsibility.
- Ensure optimizing the availability and reliability of all equipment and systems in the designated area through inspecting repair and maintenance works performed by SATORP’s employees and contractors on a regular basis.
- Distribute and coordinate work assignments among the area maintenance team to execute daily routine maintenance plans and ensure timely completion.
- Organize and facilitate regular maintenance meetings with Area Operations team, Maintenance Coordinator and Planner to discuss daily notifications and prepare weekly schedules.
- Perform a root cause analysis on faulty equipment and request an in-depth failure analysis and reliability improvement studies on equipment with complex problems to minimize the likelihood of problems recurrence.
- Follow-up on contractors’ completed works and verify contractors’ invoices against contract terms and specifications.
- Work with the Turnaround Division personnel to plan, prioritize and schedule major turnarounds within the designated area and ensure that all resources needed are available to perform the turnaround in coordination with all concerned parties.
- Provide all data and/or estimates, where possible, required for identifying the annual budget for routine maintenance operations in the designated area of responsibility. Ensure that routine maintenance tasks and activities are achieved on time and within budget and report any deviations to the Area Maintenance Foreman.
- Enforce health and safety regulations within the designated area of responsibility, ensure employees / contractors’ adherence to the same and submit regular reports to the Area Maintenance Foreman in this respect.
- Ensure the availability of all maintenance equipment, materials, tools and any other resources needed for conducting routine maintenance activities.
- Provide input regarding the selection of services providers and tenders and participate in evaluating contractors’ proposals and capabilities.
- Participate in developing cost objectives and maintenance standards and monitor the performance of maintenance teams in order to meet these objectives.
- Recommend improvements to maintenance procedures and practices to improve subordinates’ competency levels and reduce costs and downtimes.
- Contribute to the development of the Section’s Key Performance Indicators and maintain a record of all related data and information.
- Submit regular reports on contractors’ performances and prepare all information and data necessary for evaluating Contractors’ performances and compliance to the contract’s terms and conditions.
- Act as a coach to the routine Maintenance Team within the area of responsibility, and help identify their training and career development, recommend training courses and follow-up on their personnel records such as timesheets, discipline, vacations, leaves and absenteeism.
- Perform the maintenance tasks (WO creation, review, closure, and audit) in SAP system.
- Participate in HSE incident investigation and improvement.
- Participate & facilitate RCAs.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Area Maintenance Foreman.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
Degree :
- High School or Diploma in required technical field.
Minimum Experience (technical, functional, and/or leadership experience required)
8-10 years of experience in required technical field
1+ year in an acting supervisory role (Preferred)
