Job Summary:
The Planner is responsible for creating, monitoring, and updating project schedules to ensure the successful delivery of the Aramco Shipyard Project. This role involves coordinating with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to track progress, identify potential delays, and implement mitigation strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Schedule Development:
- Create detailed project schedules using tools such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.
- Define project milestones, deadlines, and deliverables.
Progress Monitoring:
- Track and update the project schedule regularly to reflect actual progress.
- Conduct critical path analysis to identify potential delays.
Coordination and Communication:
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to gather schedule data.
- Communicate schedule updates, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders.
Risk Analysis:
- Identify scheduling risks and propose mitigation measures.
- Adjust schedules to address unexpected delays or changes in project scope.
Reporting:
- Prepare and present progress reports, including S-curves, Gantt charts, and performance metrics.
- Provide forecasts and highlight deviations from the baseline schedule.
Compliance and Standards:
- Ensure adherence to Aramco and industry standards for project planning and reporting.
- Maintain documentation for audits and reviews.

Skills and Qualifications
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent scheduling software.
- Strong understanding of shipyard operations, marine construction, and Aramco standards.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project planning, preferably in shipyard or oil and gas projects.
- Experience working on Aramco projects is a strong advantage.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
