Position Summary:

The EIFS (Exterior Insulation and Finish Systems) Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of EIFS operations, including project management, installation, quality assurance, and team coordination. This role ensures that all EIFS projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet high-quality standards while maintaining compliance with safety regulations and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Management:
  • Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of EIFS projects.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Monitor project progress and resolve any issues that may arise.
  1. Team Leadership:
  • Supervise and manage the EIFS installation team, including foremen and laborers.
  • Provide training and development to ensure team proficiency in EIFS techniques and safety protocols.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to communicate project goals and updates.
  1. Quality Assurance:
  • Ensure that all EIFS installations meet industry standards, company specifications, and client expectations.
  • Conduct site inspections to verify the quality and durability of installed systems.
  • Develop and implement quality control processes.
  1. Client and Stakeholder Management:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding EIFS projects.
  • Provide regular updates to clients and address any concerns or changes.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project alignment.
  1. Safety and Compliance:
  • Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and implement corrective measures as needed.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of EIFS industry best practices and standards.
  1. Budget and Cost Control:
  • Monitor project budgets to prevent cost overruns.
  • Review and approve material orders, subcontractor invoices, and labor costs.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
  1. Material and Equipment Management:
  • Oversee the procurement and inventory of EIFS materials and equipment.
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of materials to prevent damage or waste.


Skills

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Experience: Min 5 years of experience in EIFS installation or management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of EIFS materials, methods, and best practices.
  • Familiarity with construction management software and tools.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications in EIFS installation or construction management (e.g., AWCI EIFSmart Certification) are a plus.

Key Competencies:

  • In-depth knowledge of EIFS systems, including insulation, base coat, mesh, and finish layers.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering plans.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality installations.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
