KM Customs Clearance and Cargo is seeking a motivated and dynamic Sales Representative with 1-3 years of experience in the logistics field to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of logistics, freight forwarding, customs clearance processes, and cargo management. As a Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in driving new business, maintaining customer relationships, and contributing to the company's growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Acquisition & Business Development:
- Identify and target potential clients, including businesses in need of logistics, cargo handling, and customs clearance services. Generate new leads and convert them into long-term clients.
- Sales and Negotiation:
- Present KM Customs Clearance and Cargo’s services to prospective clients, negotiate pricing, and create customized solutions to meet their logistics and transportation needs.
- Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and customer loyalty. Address any concerns or inquiries promptly and effectively.
- Market Research:
- Stay informed about market trends, customer preferences, and competitive offerings. Provide valuable insights to the team for service improvements and new opportunities.
- Sales Targets & Reporting:
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets. Provide regular sales reports and updates to management on progress, customer feedback, and potential issues.
- Collaboration with Operations Team:
- Coordinate with the operations team to ensure smooth and timely processing of shipments, customs clearance, and cargo handling for clients. Resolve any operational challenges that may impact customer satisfaction.
- Product Knowledge & Training:
- Stay updated on the latest logistics trends, customs regulations, and cargo services. Provide clients with accurate and timely information about the company’s services.
Skills
Requirements:
- Experience:
- 1-3 years of experience in a sales or customer-facing role within the logistics, freight forwarding, or cargo industry.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to understand client needs and offer tailored solutions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with logistics software and CRM systems is a plus.
