The Drone Pilot position is a critical role particularly in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This position involves operating unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to capture high-quality aerial footage, conduct surveys, and assist in various projects that require aerial data collection. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of drone technology, relevant regulations, and safety protocols while demonstrating exceptional piloting skills. This role is essential for enhancing operational efficiency and providing innovative solutions to clients.

Responsibilities:

  1. Operate drones for aerial photography, videography, and surveying tasks.
  2. Conduct pre-flight checks and ensure all equipment is functioning correctly.
  3. Adhere to safety regulations and local laws governing drone operations.
  4. Analyze and interpret aerial data to provide actionable insights.
  5. Maintain accurate records of flight logs and equipment maintenance.
  6. Collaborate with project managers to understand specific aerial needs.
  7. Provide technical support and training to team members on drone operations.
  8. Stay updated on the latest drone technology and industry trends.
  9. Assist in the development of flight plans and risk assessments.
  10. Ensure compliance with privacy laws and ethical standards during operations.

Preferred Candidate:

  1. Proven experience as a drone pilot with a minimum of 5 years in the field.
  2. Have Drone License (107).
  3. Strong understanding of drone technology and UAV systems.
  4. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  5. Detail-oriented with a focus on safety and compliance.
  6. Ability to work in various weather conditions and environments.
  7. Problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing project requirements.
  8. Relevant certifications and licenses for drone operation.
  9. Experience in data analysis and interpretation.
  10. Knowledge of aerial photography and videography techniques.
  11. Familiarity with drone software and mapping tools.
