Job Purpose

To prepare and issue detailed shop drawings as per the instructions of the Technical Manager, contributing to the design and development of aluminum systems that are technically sound and economically viable.

Key Responsibilities

Preparation and Review of Drawings:

• Review technical requirements and architectural drawings in coordination with the Technical Manager, Project Manager, or Sales Manager.
• Prepare and issue shop drawings and details with all required information, including nomenclature, dimensions, and other relevant data, for submission to the Technical Manager for review and approval.

Revisions and Updates:

• Revise shop drawings based on feedback from the Technical Manager or Project Manager.

Coordination:

• Collaborate with the structural engineer and Technical Department Coordinator to ensure the compatibility of sections with structural calculations.

Reporting:

• Submit weekly progress reports to the Technical Manager through the Technical Coordinator regarding the status of assigned tasks.

Design Support:

• Assist the Technical Manager in design tasks by proposing practical and cost-effective ideas and solutions.

Adherence to Standards:

• Ensure all shop drawings follow established guidelines and meet project quality and technical requirements.

Skills

Education and Experience:

• Diploma or degree in Drafting, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Prior experience in drafting for aluminum systems, facades, or similar industries is highly desirable.

Technical Proficiency:

• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD and/or Revit.
• Knowledge of aluminum systems, structural calculations, and architectural detailing.

Soft Skills:

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Effective time management and the ability to meet deadlines.
