Key responsibilities include:
Developing innovative furniture designs aligned with Alasfor Furniture's brand identity and customer needs.
Creating detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings, specifications, and prototypes for production.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, procurement, and sales, to ensure design feasibility and quality.
Researching trends, materials, and technologies to integrate innovative solutions into designs.
Overseeing the selection of materials, finishes, and techniques for each project.
Conducting site visits and supplier assessments to ensure quality and compliance with design standards.
Preparing progress reports, presentations, and design documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you should have:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Design, Furniture Design, or related fields.
A minimum of 8 years’ experience in furniture design, including bespoke and large-scale projects.
Proficiency in design tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, or similar.
Strong understanding of furniture manufacturing processes, materials, and ergonomics.
Experience in high-profile or luxury design projects is a plus.
