Responsibilities:

  1. Project Planning and Management:
  • Define the scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines for projects in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including resource allocation, risk assessment, and budget management.
  • Monitor and track project progress, adjusting schedules and resources as needed to meet changing requirements.
  1. Stakeholder Coordination and Communication:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring clear and consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Facilitate meetings with stakeholders to define project requirements, provide updates, and manage expectations.
  • Prepare and present project status reports, highlighting milestones, risks, and issues.
  1. Resource Management:
  • Identify and assign appropriate team members, including developers, engineers, and external vendors, to ensure project success.
  • Manage internal and external resources to optimize project efficiency and meet project deliverables.
  • Ensure that teams have the necessary tools and support to complete tasks effectively.
  1. Risk and Issue Management:
  • Identify potential project risks and create mitigation plans to address them.
  • Proactively manage project issues, escalating to leadership when necessary, and facilitating resolutions to keep the project on track.
  • Develop contingency plans for unforeseen challenges or changes in project scope.
  1. Budget and Financial Oversight:
  • Create and manage project budgets, ensuring all costs are tracked and that projects are completed within financial constraints.
  • Monitor financial performance, controlling project expenditures and ensuring cost-effectiveness.
  • Provide financial reporting and updates to stakeholders, highlighting any deviations from the budget.
  1. Quality Assurance:
  • Ensure that all project deliverables meet the required quality standards and business objectives.
  • Work with quality assurance teams to develop and implement testing plans.
  • Manage the user acceptance testing (UAT) process to ensure that end users approve the functionality of new systems or services.
  1. Vendor and Contract Management:
  • Manage relationships with third-party vendors, including negotiating contracts, monitoring performance, and ensuring that service-level agreements (SLAs) are met.
  • Coordinate with external service providers to integrate their deliverables into the project timeline.
  1. Change Management and Training:
  • Lead change management initiatives to ensure a smooth transition for end users and IT teams.
  • Develop and execute training plans to equip users with the necessary skills to work with new systems or technologies.
  • Monitor post-implementation issues and support end-users during the stabilization period after project completion.
  1. Documentation and Compliance:
  • Ensure that all project-related documentation is maintained and updated throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage project documentation, including project plans, technical specifications, and post-project reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements


  1. Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar certification (e.g., PRINCE2, ITIL) is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in IT project management or a related field.
  • Experience managing IT services projects, including software implementation, infrastructure upgrades, and cloud migrations.

  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, Trello).

  • Familiarity with IT infrastructure, software development, cloud computing, and cybersecurity.
  • Ability to understand and manage technical aspects of IT projects, ensuring effective communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate efforts across departments.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate team members and foster a collaborative working environment.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
