Employee Relations Specialist

Maintaining employee contract terms and conditions. Ensuring that all matters are properly investigated and resolved fairly to ensure implementation of company policy and procedures and compliance with labor law.


Responsibilities

  • Initiating, Reviewing and proposing processes, policies and procedures for effective management of the employee relation operations and submitting to direct manager for review.
  • Supervising the employee relations policies and procedures to ensure all related employee contract activates are aligned with labor law and company policy.
  • Implementing company policy to ensure all disciplinary actions are aligned with work laws.
  • Supervising and Reviewing employment contract contents, terms & conditions to identify potential legal threats and suggest changes as per latest royal decrees to avoid legal penalties & Cases.
  • Assessing employee contract terms, conditions and matching them with labor law.
  • Suggesting updates to employee contract to reflect any changes in labor law to protect company from any penalties of violation of labor law.
  • Providing solutions and preparing supporting documents for cases that have been raised from labor office against the company.
  • Solving internal employee grievances to prevent labor office raised cases.
  • Representing company in all cases that have been raised from labor office against the company.
  • Initiating to delegate some cases for external legal consultant when needed.
  • Creating employee survey to measure engagement level.
  • Consulting and coordinating engagement activates with all company section heads to prompt employee engagement level.
  • Developing, updating, and managing to communicate employee handbook to ensure employee awareness.
  • Fostering integrity and openness culture in company to minimize uncertainty level therefore prevent complaints.
  • Assisting in setting objectives & KPIs to employee relations section team.
  • Reviewing performance of employee relations staff and suggest training need.
  • Coaching, training and developing his staff to provide optimum output in a professional and consistent manner.
  • Monitoring section staff attendance and punctuality & taking corrective behavioral action, if necessary based on personal manager instructions.
  • Providing legal and technical guidance to the subordinates in case of complex or new issues, problems or ask for other parties’ assistance, as desired and approved.
  • Initiating to handle employee grievances to maintain justice. 
  • Controlling and investigating all employee issues and Suggesting recommendation to promote work procedures and minimize policy violation. 
  • Conducting the work related analysis to track trends as per requirement. 
  • Reviewing data reconciliations to ensure that employee relations data is 100% matched with the actual.
  • Preparing weekly and Monthly report of the statute of work. 
  • Maintaining, reviewing and reporting a list of employee penalties to manager to be delivered to labor Office.
  • Investigating any complaints or warnings emanating from governmental offices in relation to the activities of any of the company divisions and/or representatives in order to resolving the issue and elicit government approval.
  • Following the HR manager’s instructions to prepare further reports & Presentations.
  • Performing any other duties related to his job as assigned by the Direct Supervisor.


Qualifications

Required Educational: Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or any related field.

Required Experience: Minimum 6 years of experience in a related field.


Required Professional Knowledge

- Professional knowledge in Saudi Labor Law and Legislations


Required Training

- Advanced training courses in Organizational Development

- Advanced training courses in Human Resources Management Systems


Required Languages

- Excellent command of both Arabic and English languages.
