Inventory Control: Manage inventory levels to ensure the availability of materials while minimizing excess stock and associated costs.

Quality Assurance: Ensure that all materials meet project specifications and quality standards, conducting inspections and audits as necessary.

Logistics Coordination: Oversee the logistics and transportation of materials to project sites, coordinating with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely delivery.

Cost Management: Monitor material costs and budgets, implementing cost-saving measures and reporting on variances to management.

Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to understand material needs and support project timelines.

Data Analysis: Analyze material usage data and market trends to inform procurement decisions and improve efficiency.

Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards in all material handling and procurement activities.

Skills

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Construction Management, or a related field.

Experience: Proven experience in material management or procurement, preferably within the construction or engineering industries.

Skills: Strong negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Software Proficiency: Familiarity with inventory management systems and procurement software.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of collaborating effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
