Job Summary:

As a Service Advisor, you will be the primary point of contact for customers seeking vehicle maintenance and repair services. Your role is to ensure a seamless and positive experience for customers by effectively communicating their needs to the service team, providing information about services, and managing customer expectations. You will play a key role in building customer relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.


Customer Interaction:

  • Greet customers promptly upon arrival and ascertain their service needs.
  • Engage in active listening to understand customer concerns and vehicle issues.
  • Provide accurate and detailed information about service processes, vehicle maintenance, and repairs.


Service Management:

  • Create and maintain service orders, ensuring all necessary information is documented accurately.
  • Communicate with technicians to relay customer concerns and service requirements.
  • Manage the workflow of service requests to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.


Follow-Up:

  • Proactively follow up with customers regarding vehicle status and service completion timelines.
  • Solicit customer feedback on services received to ensure continuous improvement.



Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education in automotive technology or business management is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Strong understanding of vehicle systems and maintenance processes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in using technology and dealership management software.
  • Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
  • A customer-centric attitude and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
