Job Summary: The Technical Sales Officer is responsible for driving sales growth by identifying and developing new business opportunities, as well as maintaining relationships with existing clients. This role requires a strong understanding of technical products and solutions, combined with excellent communication and sales skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Development:
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in assigned territories.
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs and industry trends.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for technical inquiries and support.
Product Knowledge:
- Develop a deep understanding of the technical products and services offered.
- Provide product demonstrations and presentations to clients, showcasing features and benefits.
Proposal and Quotation Preparation:
- Prepare and present tailored proposals and quotations based on client requirements.
- Negotiate terms and conditions to close sales effectively.
Sales Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance and market trends for management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in technical sales or a related role.
