Quality Control Supervisor - Sauces Commissary

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for ensuring that all products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements. Your role will involve on-site monitoring production processes, conducting inspections and tests, and implementing quality control measures to ensure product safety and consistency. You will work closely with production staff and management to identify and resolve quality issues and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
  • Perform laboratory tests on samples to ensure compliance with quality specifications.
  • On process control and monitor production processes to identify deviations from quality standards.
  • Document and report quality control findings and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues promptly.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of quality assurance procedures and protocols.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices.


Skills

Qualifications

  • Education: degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field; relevant certifications in quality control or food safety are a plus.
  • Experience: experience in quality control within the food manufacturing industry, preferably in sauces or dressings.
  • Knowledge: Certified in FSSC or BRC, and familiar with the implementation and requirements of food safety regulations and quality management systems (e.g., HACCP, FSSC22000 SFDA).
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in quality management software.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively report findings and collaborate with teams.
