Key Job Accountabilities (Max 10, each unique, exclude generic)

1. Provides Mechanical (Rotating & Static) pre-comm/comm expertise, to lead safe execution of the Process/piping Pre-Comm and Commissioning scope of work in accordance with project deliverables and execution schedule. Demonstrate leadership in planning and execution driving EPC contractor to deliver as per project milestones.

2. Review, approve Mechanical (Rotating & Static) Pre-Comm/Comm check sheets, Construction Work Packages, and provide supervision of pre-comm/comm scope of work by EPC contractor, supports contractor by helping to address gaps and coordination with operations and other disciplines within CPY team.

3. Maintains close liaison with members of Engineering, quality, construction, operations Teams and accountable for ensuring execution of work is technically aligned in compliance with project objectives, specification, and industry best practices.

4. Guides EPC Contractor's Mechanical (Rotating & Static) pre-comm/comm activities and validating contracts, including vendors, subcontractor resources, personnel qualifications, usage of appropriate tools; adherence to project objectives, requirements, specifications, and verification processes. Provide assurance of CTR/SCTR adhere to Project SHES procedures.

5. Assesses and validates EPC Contractor’s procedures for SIMOPS, Work under Permit, Partial Handover requirements and perform progress measurement / reporting to drive assigned pre-commissioning/commissioning activities. Lead punch close out activities and handovers.

6. Manages the Mechanical (Rotating & Static) discipline deliverables updates/relines and support field engineering where needed in support of pre-comm/comm activities. Where needed, develop short term mitigation plans to achieve intermediate milestones and birding scope for final completions.

7. Responsible for following up and assuring schedule and related milestones are achieved, provides data (rundown curves, charts, graphs), identify material & skills gaps, develop recovery plans to address any schedule delays if any.

8. Accountable for knowledge of and sharing previous lessons learned, capturing, and communicating current lessons learned to support review teams and future projects.

9. Review, update and amend procedures and specifications to ensure that all pre-comm/comm references are up to date and relevant.

10. Develop plan where Mechanical (Rotating & Static) needs to be re-ranged or replaced to support pre-start-up activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent

Knowledge and Experience

▪ Lead safe discipline Pre - commissioning and commissioning works execution per work plans, specifications, and procedures. ▪ Interface with other disciplines Pre commissioning and project stakeholders during execution of the works. ▪ Responsible for oversight and implementation or ensuring that the proper safety processes are being implemented on site during Pre-Commissioning phase such as (PTW, LOTO, SIMOPS, storage energy exclusion Zone.) ▪ Provide input to the establishment of system and sub - system boundaries and Completions database population in conjunction with the Completions team. ▪ Prepare pre - commissioning schedule and resource plan and interface for input to the overall project schedule. ▪ Prepare pre- commissioning procedures interfacing with construction and completions personnel. ▪ Prepare detailed test plans, procedures, work instructions, JSA’s, etc. as necessary for Pre-commissioning activities. ▪ Responsible to supervise the pre-commissioning Mechanical activities which will be conducted by contractors such as (lube oil/chemical/cooling water) flushing, rotating /static equipment’s alignment, velocity Air blowing, Nitrogen Leak Testing, Flange management, Drying & Inert process of various Mechanical equipment and/or Piping. ▪ Coordinate all Pre-Commissioning internal and external technical interfaces with project team, Pre-Commissioning Subcontractors, Client, and Third-Party Contractor. ▪ Report on status of work, potential delays, problems, and so forth. ▪ Responsible for participating in the system/sub-system walk through (MCC/STCC) and checking the system readiness for Pre-commissioning/Commissioning activities. Identify punch list items, close out punch list items. ▪ Identify pre - commissioning and commissioning tools, test equipment, temporary facilities, lubricants, consumables, third party services required for work execution. ▪ Manage Technical Queries (SQ) and Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) related to Mechanical Pre-Commissioning scope. Providing technical justification for the Site Queries (SQ) and Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) and ensure the SQs and NCRs are addressed / closed out. ▪ Record and maintain the documentation of pre-commissioning, commissioning. Responsible for understanding the Go-Completions (Hub2) software, which is used for completions, update the records in Hub2 in each phase of completion of Pre-Commissioning and commissioning activities Assist in the development of documentation and Dossiers.
