Job Summary:


The General Manager of Data Management Office (GM-DMO) plays a crucial role in promoting data management, governance, and utilization within the organization. The DMO is responsible for implementing and maintaining relevant policies, procedures, and controls to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of data. This includes developing and executing data governance frameworks, data quality standards, and data management practices. It also involves building a data and analytics platform along with associated activities to leverage data and support decision-making.


Responsibilities:


  • Designing, implementing, and maintaining data-driven solutions that support operational and decision-making processes. This role requires a hands-on approach and a deep understanding of data technologies and methodologies.
  • Managing data analysis projects from a technical perspective, including data extraction, transformation, integration, and analysis.
  • Developing and maintaining a data governance framework to ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Enhancing the office's efficiency by leveraging the latest data and analytics technologies and recommending new solutions to improve the effectiveness of data-driven decision-making within the organization.
  • Collaborating with teams to ensure proper data integration and building related solutions to support the data strategy.
  • Providing technical support to the Data Management Office Manager on planning matters, engaging with external business partners, and discussing departmental needs.
  • Actively contributing to the organization’s digital transformation plan regarding data and analytics initiatives.
  • Executing any other tasks that fall within the scope of responsibilities related to data and analytics as assigned by the Data Management Office Manager.


Skills and Job Requirements:


  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields: Computer Science, Information Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, Software, or equivalent.
  • At least 10 years of experience in data management, data warehousing, business intelligence, or data science.
  • A strong sense of responsibility, logical thinking, problem-solving skills, teamwork spirit, and public engagement ability.
