The Chief Accountant is responsible for managing the overall accounting operations, including the preparation of financial reports, budgeting, cost control, and maintaining the integrity of the financial records. The role requires thorough knowledge of accounting principles and regulations, along with the ability to lead and develop an accounting team. We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented professional to manage our accounting operations and contribute to the growth of our organization.

 

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee daily accounting operations, including journal entries, accounts payable/receivable, and general

- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.

- Manage the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring alignment with company objectives.

- Ensure compliance with local accounting regulations and tax laws.

- Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations for cost savings and profitability improvement.

- Coordinate and lead external audits and tax filings.

- Develop and implement internal financial controls to ensure accurate and reliable financial reporting.

- Train, supervise, and evaluate the performance of accounting staff.

  • Sound knowledge of different types of financial reports and balance sheets.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office and its applications.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or equivalent certification preferred)
