Tendering Specialist

Key Responsibilities of Tendering Manager, including but not limited to the following:

1. Oversee and manage the end-to-end tender process, including review, preparation, and submission of proposals.      

2. Analyze tender documents, specifications, and scope of work to assess the company's ability to bid. Identify and mitigate any risks associated with tender submissions.

3.       Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, procurement, legal, finance) to gather all necessary information

4.       Receive the queries from the team, review them, make the needed amendments and send them to the client to gain needed information about the project.

5. Participate in pre-tender and post-tender meetings with clients to clarify requirements and negotiate terms.

6.       Prepare Technical and Commercial Proposal based on inputs received from cross-functional team.

7.       Conduct the final tuning with the Head of Tendering department to finalize the Technical and Commercial Proposal.

8. Ensure final tender submissions are well-written, structured, and fully compliant with client requirements.

9.   Negotiate with the clients and revise the tender in order to award the project to the company.

10.   Coordinate the contracting process with the Contract Department to ensure it is aligned with the clients’ and organization’s requirements.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

- Proven experience (3-5 years) in tendering and proposal management.

- Strong understanding of tendering processes in industries like construction, oil & gas, engineering, or infrastructure.

- Excellent project management and organizational skills.

- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.

- Proficiency in relevant software (MS Office, ERP systems, costing tools).
