- Conduct inspections and tests on MEP systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire protection, and related systems.
- Verify that installations comply with approved drawings, specifications, codes, and standards.
- Perform routine and random inspections during the installation process to ensure quality compliance.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, including non-conformance reports (NCRs), test reports, and inspection checklists.
- Prepare and submit QA/QC documentation, including daily reports, inspection reports, and test results.
- Ensure all necessary documentation is available and up to date for audits and project closeout.
- Monitor and ensure that the MEP contractor adheres to the project’s quality assurance plan.
- Identify and document any deviations from quality standards and work with the project team to address issues promptly.
- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve quality issues.
- Participate in site meetings to discuss and resolve quality-related matters.
- Provide feedback to project teams on quality issues and recommend corrective actions
- Ensure that all MEP installations comply with local building codes, regulations, and safety standard
- Verify that the materials and equipment used on-site meet project specifications and quality standards.
- Ensure that corrective actions are implemented and documented for any identified quality issues.
Skills
Education:
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field
Experience:
- 5-8 years of experience in MEP QA/QC inspection or a related role within the construction industry.
