Eram Talent is currently seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Oil Spill Facilitator to join our team. As an Oil Spill Facilitator, you will play a crucial role in managing and mitigating oil spill incidents. Your expertise and proactive measures will contribute to the protection of the environment and the health and safety of the community. This position demands strong analytical skills, effective communication, and the ability to coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure a swift and effective response to oil spill events.
In this role, you will work closely with environmental agencies, emergency response teams, and other professionals to develop and implement spill response plans, conduct training, and perform assessments of potential spill risks.
Key Responsibilities:
- To lead the Oil Spill Combatting to ensure that any oil spill situations are properly contained and controlled so as to mitigate any negative effects to the environment.
- To ensure that all oil spill response equipment is properly maintained and serviced to meet operable conditions at all times. Ensure proper documentation of oil spill equipment.
- Act as onscene commander; Risk management,
- Conduct oil spill investigation and formulate rectification programs. Formulate and conduct oil spill awareness, prevention and other oil spill related training programs.
- Acts as spill/environmental issues consultant.
- To satisfy TMD responsibilities, obligations and accountabilities reflected on KJO OSCP.
- Ensure to close oil spill related audit items.
- Supervises the preparation of timely and accurate departmental reports which conform to Company an d department requirements, policies and standards
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Environmental, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
- 10 years working experience in oil & gas field with at least 6 years' experience in oil spill combating & response, spill surveillance, oil quantification, forecast oil trajectory, supervision of various response teams.
- Trained & accredited oil spill IMO responder with certificates from internationally recognized oil spill organizations.
- Computer knowledge skills - Word, Excel and Power Point.
- Full Knowledge in MARPOUSOLASI/MO regulations along with Environmental Polices & standards. Professional on spill equipment & vessels/chemical utilization. High safety skills is required.
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and oil spill response procedures

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to travel and work in various outdoor environments
