Eram Talent is seeking an experienced Mooring Master to join our team. As a Mooring Master, you will play a vital role in overseeing the mooring operations for vessels, ensuring safe and efficient berthing, unberthing, and cargo operations. You will collaborate closely with terminal personnel, ship crews, and harbor authorities to facilitate all mooring activities while adhering to safety and environmental regulations.
Your expertise will help maintain operational efficiency and safety during vessel handling operations, ensuring compliance with all relevant protocols.
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Nautical Science or HND Certificate
- Master class 1 competency ticket, unlimited tonnage with no Restriction.
- 9 years' experience as Master or Chief Officer on an oil tanker with capacity of over 200,000 SWT inclusive of time spent in obtaining Master's Certificate including the time taken to qualify as a Master.
- Good command of English language, spoken and written
- Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in marine operations with a focus on mooring activities
- Strong understanding of mooring techniques and equipment
- Experience working on offshore or port facilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage
