Role Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Team Lead to oversee and guide our software development team. In this role, you’ll balance hands-on coding with leadership duties, mentoring the team, driving technical excellence, and ensuring project delivery aligns with business goals. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy robust software solutions while setting technical direction and ensuring high-quality code standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment that encourages skill development and growth.
• Technical Oversight: Provide architectural guidance and code reviews to ensure software quality, scalability, and maintainability.
• Project Management: Coordinate and manage development tasks, set priorities, and ensure the timely delivery of software projects in alignment with business goals.
• Hands-On Development: Write, test, and maintain high-quality code; participate in coding activities as needed to support the team’s output.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define requirements, plan features, and ensure alignment with project objectives.
• Agile Practices: Drive Agile or Scrum methodologies, facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure smooth project execution.
• Problem Solving: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical challenges quickly and efficiently, guiding the team to adopt best practices for long-term solutions.
• Technology Advocacy: Stay current with industry trends and best practices, recommending tools, frameworks, and technologies that enhance the team's productivity and product quality.
• Documentation: Ensure proper technical documentation is created and maintained to support project needs and team knowledge transfer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience
• Preferred project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as ASP.NET, Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, or others relevant to the tech stack
• Experience in software architecture and design patterns
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
