An excellent opportunity in a dynamic manufacturing environment, for a Global Oil & Gas Service company! for Planner position.
Purpose
Planning of production activities to achieve the highest efficiency in production of goods/services. To organize the production facilities like machines, men, etc., to achieve stated production objectives.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES
Production Management
- Manage to release different types of work orders for production line.
- Handle Monthly MPS and MRP for the different production areas.
- Review demand and supplies and issue orders which include but not limited to Work Orders, Purchase requisition, …. Etc.
- Administer Work orders validity and aging.
- Administer Work Definitions and ensure the latest updates.
- Lead the planning of operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay.
- Delegate to liaise with customer service and production team to update and follow up production status.
- Oversee the preparation of weekly production report to present to the plant manager.
- Consult to address issues when they arise aiming for minimum disruption.
- Monitor to obtain output information (number of finished products, delays, etc.)

Safety, Health and Environment
- Direct compliance to all relevant safety, health and environmental management policies, procedures and controls in order to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance and responsible environmental behaviors.
- Oversee the resolution of escalated non-compliance to policies and procedures in order to foster a safety, health and environment culture, mitigate risks, and protect APC’s interests.
- Oversee the application and improvement of all relevant safety, health and environmental management related policies, procedures and controls.
Policies, Processes and Procedures
- Assist the development and oversee the implementation of Operations policies, systems, processes, procedures and controls so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering high quality and cost-effective results.
- Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement through adapting to changes in international standards, changes in the business environment and adoption of leading practices .
People Management
- Help instil a culture of development, guidance and performance within Operations
Lead, guide and evaluate a team of unit heads.
- Provide development opportunities to the team and ensure career paths and succession plans are charted out.
- Empower team members to take business decisions by effectively delegating authority.
- Identify and recruit key senior talent for Operations.
- Set and communicate clear performance expectations, coach and provide support and regular feedback to Finance unit heads on performance.
- Act as a role model to champion APC's values to employees.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge and Experience
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in planning.
- Computer proficiency.
- Good communication skills.
- Knowledge of production processes and flow of product.
Education and Certifications
- Bachelor /Diploma in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering is preferred.
