As a Area Sales Manager, you will be planning and Executing the sales plan for the share, market execution and customer service objectives through effective leadership and maximum utilizations of the Region’s sales team and ensuring successful achievement of sales AOP and to safeguard & develop the company image in the marketplace. Manage both DTS and Wholesale field sales channels in the region in accordance with sales plans to achieve/exceed objectives in terms of execution, gross and net revenues, market share and people development targets.
Key Responsibilities:
1- Lead the achievement (exceed) of the field sales net revenue and volume targets and business plan by creating and communicating and driving effective sales plans for the achievement of sales objectives.
2- Key Field Sales KPI’s to include: reaching distribution targets (depth and breadth-capture and additional points of sales); Upgrading execution on primary placements both in the quantitative approach (space fair share) and qualitative approach (location + appearance); Upgrading execution on secondary payments per point sale: Implementing price promotions strategies.
3- Be a key member of the SSFL management Team. Specific; responsibility for contributing into development and execution of I&GP for SSFL designed for rapid and profitably growth.
4- Improve efficiency and drive for continuous improvement within the Regional Field Sales Force. Specifically: managing the sales overhead investments and cost together with ROI, management of routes results and profitability.
1- Demonstrate excellent leadership capability by building a winning mind-set and strong capability across the Field Sales Force, by: coaching and develop sales/channel manager to deliver business & people objectives; provide leadership to all sales capability programmes.
2- Lead and manage administrative & control system agenda within the field to include: maintaining control over the main KPIs ensure the execution of the KPI’s per Store: ensure effective monitoring and processes are in place in all levels of the organization, providing recommendations for the insure timely implementation; create, implement and insure compliance with accounting, inventory and control procedures; resolve service & supply issues with affected parties; design and report results/activities of the sales force.
3- Convert the region’s sales and market development objectives to all sales/channel managers within the Region.
4- Provide on-going coaching to all sales/channel managers within the Region and ensure they are properly equipped, trained and motivated to achieve their objectives.
5- Ensure proper roll-out and sustain the implementation of Best Practice Tools within the Region.
6- Develop strong relationship with Stockiest & Distribution within the Regine; this will include coordinating with the Stockiest & Distribution Owner/ Manager on all call.
7- Report competitive activities to the Sales Director qw and when it happens.
8- Report infrastructure requirements within the Region as per market needs to the Sales Director.
Assess the Regional sales staffing and skill requirements. Develop plans to address short and long term HR needs within the region.
