Job Summary:

The Project Manager will lead and manage special projects within the transport and logistics sector, ensuring seamless execution from planning to completion. The role requires coordinating cross-functional teams, optimizing resources, and delivering projects on time and within budget. A key responsibility will be overseeing initiatives to improve operations, enhance efficiency, and contribute to business growth.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage multiple special projects across the transport and logistics operations.
  • Plan, implement, and monitor projects, ensuring timelines, quality standards, and budget adherence.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (operations, finance, HR) and external stakeholders for project execution.
  • Drive process improvements, operational efficiency, and new service introductions.
  • Conduct regular status reviews, prepare reports, and present project progress to senior management.
  • Manage risk assessments, identify potential project risks, and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Lead special initiatives in response to evolving market conditions, customer demands, or company priorities.
  • Ensure all projects comply with local regulations, labour laws, and company policies.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in project management, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in project management within the transport, logistics, or supply chain industry.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale projects, preferably in the Middle East region.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Strong understanding of the logistics and transportation market in the Middle East.
