Job Purpose

To direct and oversee construction projects from initial planning, design and through final completion, optimizing value for The Red Sea Development Company (TRSDC) by establishing and managing project schedules, ensuring adherence to design requirements, specifications and engineering standards, and delivering high-quality outcomes within established timelines

Job Responsibilities - Leadership

Support the execution of the annual business plan and targets by implementing the strategic agenda for the Projects Delivery function, aligning with The Red Sea Development Company’s (TRSDC) vision and mission.

Translate strategic objectives into detailed operational business plans for project delivery, and systematically monitor performance and execution to ensure alignment with functional goals and successful realization of the company’s strategic initiatives.

Contribute to the preparation of Construction Budget, monitor financial performance versus the budget so that the business is aware of anticipated costs/revenues, areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified, and potential performance improvement opportunities are capitalized upon.

Job Responsibilities - Functional

Review, interpret and advise on Project design documentation, ensuring design optimization and construction feasibility while also complying to approved Budget, applicable codes, and standards. Collaborate with stakeholders to assess scope gaps and scope duplications, evaluate and strategize for alignment with wider stakeholders.

Responsible for reviewing and where required leading the Project lifecycle processes spanning across integrated design, estimations, scheduling, Authority approvals, Tendering, Construction and Handover.

Demonstrate Financial stewardship and Budget management, including monitoring and forecasting overruns. Devise, propose and lead mitigation measures, including Value engineering and change management processes.

Lead and where necessary prepare, Pre-construction and construction stage documentation including Tender packages, Notices, Letters, reports and Meeting minutes.

Demonstrate and integrate innovative solutions on building systems, sustainable practices, and construction methodologies to minimize costs and reduce construction Timelines. Develop a clear and rigorous project schedule, value, and scope management techniques to ensure on-time delivery and quality standards.

Identify potential risks to the project, including design flaws, construction delays, and safety hazards. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize potential impact.

Manage the design execution and Construction management phases, analyze project progress across cross-discipline and cross-functional areas, identify areas of improvement to ensure on-time Project delivery and adherence to TRSDC’s policies, procedures, and project-specific approvals.

Job Requirements - Qualification & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or any related field 
• Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience.
