Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Odoo System Administrator & IT Specialist to manage the deployment, maintenance, and support of our Odoo ERP system. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Odoo development and IT infrastructure management. They will be responsible for resolving system issues, providing technical support, managing cloud-based email networking, and maintaining conference room technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Odoo System Management:
  • Administer and configure the Odoo ERP system, ensuring smooth operations and functionality across all departments.
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users, enabling them to effectively utilize Odoo functionalities.
  • Create detailed user manuals, document ERP processes, and prepare deployment progress updates.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and optimize Odoo system workflows.
  • Analyze and resolve any reported system issues promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Maintain, update, and improve the Odoo system as needed.
  • IT Infrastructure Management:
  • Manage and troubleshoot cloud-based email systems, ensuring seamless communication within the organization.
  • Set up, maintain, and resolve networking issues in conference rooms to ensure meetings and presentations run smoothly.
  • Handle a variety of daily tasks, including ticket resolution and email management related to system performance and user requests.
  • Technical Support & Troubleshooting:
  • Provide ongoing support for daily IT-related issues and tickets, resolving them in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with the team to identify technical challenges and troubleshoot problems.
  • Documentation & Reporting:
  • Prepare regular reports on system performance, issue resolution, and development progress.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of IT processes and updates to the system.


Skills

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in Odoo development, configuration, and system administration.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud-based email systems and IT networking.
  • Experience in technical support, with the ability to train and support end-users.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting technical issues and resolving user requests.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities daily.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of Odoo modules and integration processes.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based platforms and tools for business management.
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-service mindset.

Work Environment:

This role may require occasional evening or weekend work to meet deadlines or resolve critical system issues
