OVERALL PURPOSE:
Manage the entire execution activities of on-site projects to ensure alignment with the set budget, schedule and quality.
Managerial Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day management and supervision to section heads and direct reports and support them in achieving their operational objectives.
- Supports in monitoring KPIs relevant to the area to control the performance against objectives and targets.
- Ensures the policies and procedures are created, implemented and aligned to the corporate policies
- Prioritizes and supports in allocating budgets and resources
- Actively manage talent management programs in own department to maximize employee performance and development.
- Contribute to setting the department’s operational plans and ensure the cascading of such to the to employees’ individual objectives.
- Contribute implementation and contribute to continuous improvement of the department’s policies, procedures and processes in line with best practices and NWC’s strategy.
- Provide input for the department’s budgeting process and manage the budget in own department.
- Review third party provider (e.g. consultants, developers, planners) performance during the project master plan development and ensure that deliverables are aligned with company's strategic priorities
- Drive the identification of legal risks and deviations in contracts and agreements and provide actions to improve its contents and avoid any issues.
- Coordinate with relevant departments to develop NWC's capital investment plan through joint initiatives
- Coordinate with other NWC departments to break the plans down to project level
- Carry out any other tasks requested by the direct manager or the superior that are within the limits of the job, provided that this task does not make a fundamental difference in the basic tasks of the job.
Minimum Qualifications:
BA/BS Degree in Engineering, Civil Engineering - Mechanical Engineering
Minimum Experience:
10+
