A Buyer/Purchaser wanted for our client a Global FMCG Leader – Riyadh HQ Opportunity
- Reporting to the Procurement Manager you will be responsible for Purchasing quality products & services for the Equipment, Supply Chain Management, and QA Departments, including processing purchase orders and contract agreements, negotiating with suppliers and contractors for the best prices and purchase terms, and tracking orders.
- Handling the procurement of materials & services for the Equipment, Supply Chain Management, and QA Departments.
- Receiving the Purchase Requisition from the User Departments and discussing with them to ensure a full understanding of the requirements.
- Searching for suitable vendors.
- Send RFQs or RFPs and follow up to get the quotations.
- Negotiating the deal with the vendors.
- Crafting purchase order.
- Working within the management team to ensure that all deliveries satisfy the project objectives • Providing a regular report for the management on the status of orders.
- Liaise for the transport of goods and track orders to ensure timely delivery.
- Coordinate with materials/services receivers to assess quality and escalate any discrepancies to suppliers and management.
- Assisting the User Departments, and the A&I team in maintaining inventory levels regularly.
- Working with User Departments for Budget forecast.
- Work with Procurement Manager for Spend Analysis for the User Departments.
- Conducting market surveys and providing advice about market trends and alternatives
- As a Buyer, you'll engage in supplier sourcing, contract negotiations, and vendor relationship management to secure advantageous pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
- Staying abreast of industry trends, regulations, and procurement best practices is vital for Buyers to make strategic decisions that bolster the company's competitiveness and profitability.
Skills
- 3 to 5 years of experience in engineering, construction, building materials, and procurement.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Construction Engineering.
- Strong business and financial acumen.
- Excellent analytical abilities and computer proficiency.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- ERP system experience.
- Results-oriented with strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
