Heavy Lifting Supervisor

1.Apply project policies and procedures.

2. Implement project initiatives and projects.

3. Check that cranes are prepared for use and that they adhere to safety and technical requirements before starting any work .

4. Plan and organize lifting and unloading operations in accordance with timetables and specifications.

5. Supervise and instruct the crane-related work team, and make sure that best practices are followed in terms of quality and safety.

6. Keep an eye on the security of cranes and related equipment, and perform routine maintenance and condition checks.

7. Conduct routine inspections and assessments of cranes to verify adherence to specifications and standards.

8. Verify that the required safety equipment, such as lifting ropes, belts, etc., is available.

9. Monitor the proper and safe loading and unloading operations.

10. Interact with other work teams and supervise the planning of lifting and transporting tasks.

11. Keep thorough records of all the procedures performed, and send management reports on a regular basis.

12. Make sure that the safety precautions needed to safeguard people and property during lifting operations are in place.

13. Provide regular reports on the advancement of the project.

14. Monitor the group's activities to guarantee that objectives are met and that progress is ongoing.

15. Assist the line manager as needed and carry out any additional duties that fall under his authority.

Skills

  • Years of Experience 9 - 11.
  • Diploma in supply management or a similar related field.
