Mission

▪ Execute the inspection and Quality Control activities on site both performed by subcontractors or in direct hiring, collecting the relevant records, ensuring full compliance with safety and quality standards and procedures

▪ Ensure that all Instrumentation, Automation and Telecommunications equipment/systems construction and installation activities are executed in accordance with the relevant Codes and Standards, and Subsidiaries procedures, Quality Control Plans/ Inspection Test Plans

Tasks

▪ In accordance with the Quality Control Plan, execute the specific inspections on material, equipment and construction/installation activities on site, following relevant specified procedures, issuing the relevant Quality Records

▪ Issue the relevant Quality Records and provide support for non-conformances reports

▪ Check cable laying and cable identification as per the project standard

▪ Ensure all relevant loop checks minimum documentation requirements (i.e. Drawing, Data sheet, Calibration certificate, check sheet for Loop, installation records)

▪ Ensure the RED Line mark-up are updated on the As-Built drawing

▪ Perform visual inspections, dimensional test, check rating and material and termination are as per the approved drawing

▪ Witness/Perform tests of continuity, insulation resistance test for the cables

▪ Verify the calibration of instruments against to data sheet (i.e. Field Instruments, safety valves, etc)

▪ Calibrate instruments

▪ Verify the installation of field instruments, ON/OFF actuated valves with associated connections, etc

▪ Witness the instruments functional test and make sure test results are accordance with manufacturer procedure and standards

▪ Check pneumatical signal connection are as per the AFC drawing (i.e. Material, Slope)

▪ Witness fiber optic cable installation and testing and ensure the test results are accordance with standards

▪ Perform/Witness test functional test

▪ Verify special processes and the relevant workers qualifications

▪ Liaise with other department construction works for instrumentation quality control activities

▪ Ensure the correct implementation of the approved Inspection Test Plan. Witness the tests, controls and inspections carried out according to Inspection and Test Plan

▪ Check inspection conformity with the Quality Control Plan/Inspection and Test Plan, issue the relevant documentation, check procedures and equipment to be used in tests, controls and inspections, manage documents certifying tests, controls and inspections

▪ Review quality records summaries and their traceability by system, part or area of plant as required for mechanical completion and for documentation to be handed over to client

▪ Orderly collect and manage/check documents certifying test, controls and inspection documents, ensuring that all mechanical and testing related records are properly retrievable within the final As- Built dossier

▪ In Case of subcontractor activities, ensure the correct implementation of the approved Quality Control Plans/ Inspection Test Plans, witnessing inspection and collecting relevant Quality Control records
